About Hope

We are on a MISSION....

to educate every child .....JOIN US

Our aim is simple; to help every child get the education they deserve.
We are supporting projects all over the world, one pencil and one mission at a time.

For every pack of Hope pencils and item of Hope stationery bought we will give £1 towards education and schools projects globally.

Pencils are the iconic symbol of education and the cornerstone of our giving based approach. We make all our Hope pencils in our dedicated pencil factory in Stourport-on-Severn Worcestershire.

Hope is the creation of Everything Environmental founder Evan Lewis. Based in Bristol Everything Environmental Ltd is the leading light in Environmental and Ethical Promotional Merchandise in the UK and across mainland Europe. Initially called Pencils for Poverty, the vision for Hope was born out of our desire to create a social benefit from the extra production capacity at our pencil factory in Worcestershire.

ONE machine, ONE million pencils, ONE mission: to educate EVERY child.

The team at Everything Environmental give their time to Hope for free. Packing pencils, creating websites, promoting Share a Pencil Day and plenty more. It is all squeezed into any spare time there is while doing their day jobs. Hope doesn't pay anyone a salary for the work they do. Hope is not a charity, we call it a Giving Enterprise. Hope has to try and cover its costs to keep on going, and to keep on giving.

“Hope is another step towards making the world a better and brighter place to live. Having spent years focused solely on Environmental and Ethical issues it was clear we had to help in other ways. Lifting people and communities out of poverty, helping children affected by humanitarian or natural disasters is a huge challenge. Without doubt education is the most effective route to achieving this important goal. Thank you for all your support.”

Evan Lewis, Founder of Hope
